Greetings from Point Pleasant

At the Point Pleasant Beach Train Station, a colorful postcard-style mural titled "Greetings from Point Pleasant Beach" welcomes visitors as they arrive in town. Started in September 2019, the piece was painted by local artist Jill Hawthorne of Jill Da Brush, whose work also includes "The Butterfly Effect" at the Stella e Luna and Jim Inzero Gallery and "Beacon of Promise" at Jenkinson's South Beach Bath Houses. Like much of her public work around the borough, the mural brings a bright, welcoming touch to an everyday space, greeting commuters and beachgoers alike as one of several murals that have become part of Point Pleasant Beach's growing public art landscape.
